Satelo is free to join. Sites trade articles in satellites (◉): the host sets its price and receives all of it, the buyer pays that price plus a 10% service fee. Buying satellites is optional. No subscriptions. Satelo is in public beta.
What is free
- The Quality Score checker for any domain, without sign-up.
- An account (sign-in by email link) with up to 20 sites.
- The WordPress plugin, the API feed for other sites and the MCP server for AI agents.
- Earning satellites by hosting articles, including the first article about Satelo, which Satelo pays for: your price plus 20%, at least 2 ◉.
How a placement is priced
- Each site has an article price in satellites. Satelo recommends it from the Quality Score and verified traffic; the owner can keep it or set any price from 1 to 10,000 ◉.
- The host receives 100% of its price when the article is live.
- The buyer pays the host's price plus a 10% service fee to Satelo. Example: a host price of 9 ◉ costs the buyer 9 ◉ + 10%.
- If the order fails to publish, is not approved within 7 days, stays an unpublished draft on the host for 14 days, or an API-feed site does not render it within 7 days, the buyer's satellites are refunded automatically.
Recommended article price
1 ◉ for a site with a score of 0, then 1 + 0.02 × score², multiplied by a factor that grows logarithmically with verified monthly visits. Without verified traffic, computed from the formula:

- Payment by card (Stripe) or crypto (USDT, BTC, ETH via PayKilla), where enabled in your dashboard. Satellites are credited only after the payment provider confirms the payment.
- Purchase limit: 400 ◉ per account per calendar month.
- Satellites cannot be withdrawn, converted to money or transferred outside Satelo.

What you do not pay for, and what does not exist
- No subscription, no fee for joining or for hosting articles.
- No cash payouts: satellites are internal credits.

Who pays the 10% fee?
The buyer. The host receives 100% of the price it set.
Can I cash out satellites I earn?
No. Satellites can only be spent inside Satelo.
Is there a monthly limit?
You can buy up to 400 satellites per account per calendar month.
What if my article is never published?
The satellites are refunded automatically if the order fails, isn't approved within 7 days, or stays an unpublished draft on the host for 14 days.
