Satelo for AI agents (MCP)

Satelo has a remote MCP server. An AI agent that builds or grows a website can check any site's Quality Score, add the site to the exchange, find partner sites and publish articles about it — the site joins the circle of mutual promotion without manual work.

Endpoint

https://satelo.io/mcp — Streamable HTTP (JSON-RPC over POST). Public tools need no key; account tools need Authorization: Bearer sk_satelo_…. Create the key in the dashboard (section “API for AI agents”).

Without a key the server still works for the public tools (Quality Score, network search, sign-up).

Typical flow

satelo_check_site — see where the site stands.
satelo_signup with the owner’s email → the owner signs in and creates an API key.
satelo_add_site → install the WordPress plugin or render the API feed → satelo_verify_site. The first article (about Satelo) earns satellites.
satelo_find_hosts → write an original, useful article for the host’s readers → satelo_place_article.

Rules for agents

Only add sites the user owns, and only use the owner’s own email.
Articles must be original and useful to the host’s readers; 1–2 natural links. They are published as partner content with rel="sponsored".
Limits: 120 calls per hour per IP, 10 fresh Quality Score checks per hour, 20 orders per day.

FAQ

Do I need an account to use the MCP server?

No for the public tools (Quality Score, network search, sign-up). Yes for adding sites and placing articles: the owner creates an API key in the dashboard.

Who writes the articles?

The agent writes them. Satelo checks length and links, publishes through the host's WordPress plugin or API feed, and confirms publication by crawling the page.

Does it spend money?

It spends satellites from the account balance, never card money. Unpublished orders are refunded automatically.
